On the July 4th holiday 2010, there is plenty of historical sites to visit and a ton of celebrations. This one drew a variety of spectators. Sponsored and presented by the Independence Hall Tea Party Association http://www.independencehalltpa.com/ .
Seating was set up for 200. Clearly more than that number got a first hand look at who they were and what the local Tea Party had to say. It was another chance to get on their mailing list, become a member, a volunteer or sponsor.
It was billed to have 11 Great Speakers address American history, immigration, cap and trade, foreign policy, national defense, security! The line up included Dom Giordano,Radio Talk Show Host, 1210AM, Joey Vento Philly's Own National Hero, Steve Lonegan

The event was well rounded, a little something for everybody activities also featuring:A Salute to Our Troops; Dramatic Readings of the Declaration of Independence & Scenes from 1776;
Colonial Costume Contest; Fife & Drum; Children's Activities; Group Information Tables.
There is a after party rsvp and a $20 donation was required. But todays activities from 1-4 pm was Free and open to the Public be sure to bring family, friends, chairs, blankets, picnic baskets. because this was a non stop event.
There was another event running nearly the same hours, sponsored by the ATAC group, there was little interaction and I had not heard any mention of any other events.
